WHAT DO YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT YOUR HORSE?
“I love Timon’s personality the most. He is uniquely and unapologetically him. There is never any guessing on what Timon is thinking or feeling. He is athletic, opinionated, obstinate, and sweet all wrapped up into a beautiful creature. He challenges my patience, my horsemanship, and my riding ability on a regular basis. All of these challenges have shaped me into a better person, both in and out of the saddle. I love that he makes me work so hard. Every success we have is something to be celebrated.”
IF THERE WERE THREE WORDS THAT DESCRIBE WHAT HE MEANS TO YOU, WHAT WOULD YOU SAY?
“Past, Present, Future. He is what I’ve dreamed of in the past. He is making me savor the moment of the present. And he has me excited for our future.”
TELL ME ABOUT YOUR HORSE’S PERSONALITY.
“He has a huge personality and the most beautiful face to go along with it. It’s so hard not to love him. His theme song is Cool by the Jonas Brothers. He legitimately thinks he’s the coolest. People joke that Timon has multiple personalities like Sybil. I think he’s more like Abed from Community. A little nerdy and socially awkward, gets a kick out of himself, over achiever in all things, but with more of an outgoing personality like Jeff Winger.”
WHAT DO YOU WANT TO REMEMBER ABOUT YOU TWO, RIGHT NOW?
“The trust we have together. I’m his person! It’s the most amazing feeling. I remember one evening he was out in his field. We had a freak storm come through that was awful. A bunch of us ran into the fields to bring in the horses. Someone else was running for Timon but he was running around looking for me! As soon as he found me he came straight to me and put his head on my shoulder. He was scared and he looked to me for comfort.”

“From the moment I met Bethany, I felt like I was one of her close friends. She brings an energy and excitement to her communication that leaves you excited to speak with her again. The direction and feedback I received during the session was wonderful. I always knew how to stand, where to put my hands, and where to look. She coached me every step of the way so I didn’t feel awkward or unsure. Bethany regularly made comments about how perfect the light was and how amazing each photo came out on her camera which genuinely made me feel that I was the best photo shoot she ever did. Later that evening and over the next few days, she posted some of my photos to her social media pages. I can remember opening up Instagram, seeing a photo, and thinking “WOW! I can’t believe that’s me!” Truly, to this day, I look at the photos and I still can’t believe it’s me.”
“The “sneak peak” photos held me over until it was time to do a full gallery reveal. The process was amazing. Many of the photos brought tears to my eyes. She captured that bond I have with my horse in such an elegant and profound way. I really enjoyed how Bethany went through the gallery with me and allowed me to pick my favorite photos to receive as digitals. She was patient as I poured over all the details in each photo and never tried to rush me. She was also extremely helpful when I was picking out the fine art pieces I wanted to order. I gave her a photo of a wall in my house where I wanted to hang a photo and she used that to show me how different sizes of prints would look in that area. I ended up ordering two incredibly beautiful large prints. A few months down the road, I also ordered a leather bifold folio. This piece is a statement in my office and I get many compliments about how beautiful it is. Bethany was very helpful when I was ordering and I’m thrilled with how it turned out.”
